First Black Panther Party Office, 5624 Martin Luther King Jr. Way
With money raised through sales of "Quotations from
Chairman Mao Tse Tung" on the University of California at
Berkeley campus, the small cadre of Black Panthers
opened the Party's first office in January 1967.
